General contractor 494 Administration of the chief resident engineer was founded in February, 1967 in the system of building-housing authorities of the Ministry of Defense of the USSR for special-purpose project constructions in the Moscow Region.

By presidential order of the Russian Federation of May 25, 1998 the Russian building investment company Open joint-stock company 494 Administration of the chief resident engineer (OAO 494 UNR) was founded on the basis of this organization.

Our company has built hundred thousands square metres of area for various application. If we add them together there will be a whole city with population making over 80 thousand people. The open joint-stock company 494 UNR has constructed apartment houses of mass building, objects of the social infrastructure, industrial buildings, habitable business class complexes, preschool institutions, schools, grammar schools, school of the Olympic reserve in Moscow and the Moscow area.

Due to the applied technologies we may use modular reinforced concrete and monolithic construction, the newest and already well-established types of the facade finish, installation of utilities systems that optimally conform to each constructed building, all kinds of interior finish in a balanced manner. We constantly aspire to quality perfection of our business activity and each constructed object contributes to the foundation of the further prosperity of our company.

OAO 494 UNRis known as a strong road-building contractor as well. Among its projects is participation in construction and reconstruction of local and federal roads. By efforts of the company road division highway sections Moscow – Minsk, Moscow – Nizhniy Novgorod, Ivanovo – Kostroma – Yaroslavl were constructed and reconstructed.

The company is well-established in Moscow and the Moscow region, took part in «constructions of the century» – the construction of the Moscow MKAD Ring Road and the third capital hoist ring. On these objects an original high-efficiency geocell for three-dimensional reinforcement of ground coat «PRUDON-494» was used that was developed and implemented by us.

494 UNR participates in development of complex engineering and technical objects in many constituent units of the Russian Federation, maintaining a careful rhythm of works and high quality that guarantees reliability and lasting quality.
